I think all of /lig/ going on 8 after the hack then almost everyone coming back revealed some serious weaknesses about IDs. A lot of people who watch multiple different vtubers don't want to post about them while under the same ID even when site moderation was good. It also makes some generals there look really sad because you can just see a single person making all the posts. I think without IDs it could have been perfect. You could still criticize vtubers but actual schizos got banned, and it had native support for videos with sound and even NSFW posts were allowed with spoilers.
