Actually I think my one gripe about Pillow's lore, which I feel like she was running into during question time last night, is that she's put so much thought into stuff in the Dream World, but canonically Piwwos can't ever interact with it. Piwwos kept mentioning stuff as though they could be in the dream world, and she kept having to correct that they don't get to. I don't think it actually matters since I don't think she's going to be super strict about the lore, but I think it's interesting to see her inexperience when it comes to storytelling like that.

I still strongly believe the 'fempiwwo' we had last year who was teaching as about...female...things such as panty bleaching (for those who remember) and what it's like for them to help us piwwows understand and empathize with their monthly tummy hort really was Pillow, herself. We all instantly fell in love with this fempiwwo and felt a warmth from her because she was so innocent, seiso and grossed out by things we said but never was rude to us either. I get what she was going for, since she wants a certain separation between dreams(streams) and Dream World lore. I think if I was writing it up with her, I'd change it so that Pillow uses her dream powers to bring Piwwos into Dream World, but she's limited to the dream school. So for 8 hours ever night, Piwwos are at dream school with her, and then when they wake up, Pillow is in their head all day long.

With the way it currently is, if she ever wants to do a themed stream based off the school theme, for instance a collab in which Olive is a teacher and Pillow is a student, that actually breaks the lore because Piwwos can't see other dream entities, because those dream entities are in the Dream World, not Piwwo Dreams.

I'd say it more represents her relationship to her fans and being a dream entity represents her escaping from normal life. In a way also, her trying to keep kayfabe is also her trying to remind herself of the privileged position she's in, blessed to have her dream job and so many loving fans. A big part of the lore is her wanting to express to her Piwwos how deeply her devotion goes. Sure, she's not actually fighting nightmares for you every night, but she does care about you enough that she would if she could.

No, it makes complete sense when you understand that she's not an author, she's a roleplayer and OC maker. She doesn't have experience writing for an audience so she doesn't know how they'll interact with what she makes. Here's something I've been thinking about for while. You can call me a schitzo crashing out but I want to get my thoughts out. Pillow tries to treat everyone the same and divide her attention equally, which sounds nice at first. But then you realize your relationship with her never evolves, no matter how much time, effort, and investment you put into chatting in her streams, leaving nice comments on Twitter, making art and other stuff for her. There's a sinking feeling of hitting a dead end, especially with someone who heavily leans into GFE. You would expect a relationship to develop and deepen as time goes on.
