I was around when Myth debuted, when this board didn't even exist. Neither of them had any chance to separate their RM from their vtuber personas. You could not go into a thread, go on Twitter or Youtube without one of their RMs blasted in your face. If anything, /jp/ spat on the rule first and foremost. Complaining about it now is almost 6 years too fucking late.
