>>111651450>>111652180It would need to be highly abstracted so it's not a horrific development nightmare, but I could envision some minimalist system where you can buy some plot of land, and then you can either rent out that land to players, or build a building on it, and then you can rent portions of the building to players or NPCs. You'd want some mechanism to have the property value increase or decrease, maybe tied to the market. I think for a player, the incentive to rent a part of a building would have to either be street cred, or perhaps let you run some highly abstracted business from the physical location. Of course I think we would want this to be balanced so that being a real estate mogul or just running actual businesses doesn't outshine the trading itself (in either profitability or gameplay emphasis), which is nasfaq's focus.
