Every trope in anime has lost its appeal, but I still enjoy the artstyle. I suppose to describe it more precisely, the storytelling no longer feels captivating. The magic is gone, and vtubers have unique design features not seen in anime. That being said, vtubers have become stale too. I have a little hope that watching Hololive ID girls will feel fun because I have a genuine interest in their culture which I hear they do at least reference, but I'm hesitant because I don't like the idea of waiting around too long for something interesting to come up.
