I like idols and I like anime, but I don't particularly like idol anime. There is no better alternative than Hololive and there will never be one. If Hololive dies, so does the 2D idol world, as far as I'm concerned, and I would see no point in watching vtubers anymore.
Indie/small idols in the real world still have elaborate choreographies and great performances, but the tech barrier means that idols in the indie pill world are TOO scuffed, it barely resembles a real performance.
