Guys I need some advice. I recently cracked how to make Claude do what I really want. I do have quite a few candidates for personal projects that would be very entertaining for me, right at the same time that I seem to have cracked the issue of my health to some degree, so I have plenty of ability to focus, etc.I could theoretically continue my soon-to-expire Claude paypig slave relationship with Anthropic, but there is no way that I am going to use up all those tokens before the renewed subscription expires unless I go nuts with some other side project(s). I could use maybe a week or two of my current level of access level, not a whole month.I could also try to step up my boldness with Claude by one level and see if that gets me bonked.On the other hand, filters are only ever going to get worse, right? Both the "external" kind and the built-into-the-model kind. And once these sweet sweet pleb subsidies end and the big providers simultaneously force everyone onto paying for APi access this ship will have sailed forever. You might be alright but Opus kills your quota like no tomorrow unless you have their really expensive plan. They ended their off hours promo and I didn't use it until Wednesday this week and just barely made it to the end of the workweek with my quota almost drained using it off peak hours. Granted, yes, I use it for work and programming but that doesn't mean it still isn't horrid. And no, the recent thing with xAI datacenter and doubling the 5 hour quota doesn't magically mean you can do more since the total quota stayed the same. The only downside from stepping down is you will at some point lose access to Claude Code if you are only on the Pro tier but I doubt you care much about that.
