is your oshi being a 2view at best a blessing or a curse?
Mine is a 1 view and its fantastic. I honestly pity those who don't get to experience the wonders that I do, without having to pay a single cent.
High 3-view or low 4-view is the best place to be. No pressure to be their pillar of support, no need to concernfag over their financial wellbeing, but they're still accessible and in touch with their audience. 2-views are too vulnerable to groomers and whales monopolizing their time and making unreasonable demands of them. I do watch a couple of 2-views but only in VOD form and have no desire to interact with them directly, mainly for their content/reaction than anything highly parasocial and there's honestly not much difference between streamers/Let's Players in that regard based on numbers alone.
The ideal is starting with a low 2view and you watch them grow over the next view years and see where they can go.It does get sad that if 3+ years have passed and they are still in the same spot they always were and it is clear they are not gonna make it
phaseniggers and /#/jeets not knowing who my oshi is sounds pretty nice
I think they were less stressed job-wise pre-Holo and had better content overall, but the money means no second job even if it's made them stream less than they did with 2 jobs. They also get to do a lot of things they wanted to. If I'm in the mood to be mad, I'll be mad there's less content I like.
>>111766096Curse even if it is nice to be there at the beginning and see them grow. Most of the time it feel like they stagnate or you see them with less or no mask and realize that's where they'll always be. The communities can get pretty shitty when they devolve into echo chambers due to the lack of size and fresh bloodMods tend to be friends and/or the most vocal user so the overall vibe of chat and the server can alienate usersor they don't become a mod but get to monopolize their attentionif they're unlucky and get a whale early they tend to stagnate
>>111767765>>111768446chuuba getting stuck at low viewcount is demoralizing as a viewer already, can't imagine how chuuba themselves must feel....
Really depends on the type of Oshi she is. Because some out there just change into a completely different person when they cross into 3view territory, and it's not always for the better.
maybe
>>111769613My oshi has been stuck in 2view hell for over five years now. She is always very positive and appreciative, but I feel bad knowing she will never be a Twitch partner. At least she's partnered on YT...
