Feels too corporate with the patreon podcast and for a very small idol group they talk about their manager too much. It's like watching Im@s and having them talk about their Producer except in Im@s they wanted to fuck their producer. As an idol unit it's probably hurting their growth.
They actually talk about their manager more than they do each other so from an outside pov it really doesn't seem like they give a shit about each other outside of a business context which is again really bad for a small idol unit.

Individually they're solid and they release good music. As a group, they're okay but nothing out of the park. I actually get a lot more value and banter from the other unreleased VShojo group called the Beastiez. Now those four make their group collabs fun unlike Densetsu.

This group is a waste of time for Mint, she is trying to shill those 2 WHOS into relevancy and its not gonna work.

I think the main reason they haven’t really blown up yet is that they haven’t had many collabs with the ex-VShojo crowd. The Beastiez got an immediate boost from collabing with Zen multiple times, later had collabs with Mousey too, and now even Pia & Tori have collabed with Michi & Kuro. Meanwhile, Densetsu.exe has mostly only collabed with the Beastiez so far. Outside of Feebee doing some Minecraft streams with Nimi and appearing in her 3D concert, there hasn’t been much crossover exposure yet.
Because of that sadly a lot of vshojo fans don't even know that they were supposed to be a part of vshojo!

Right now the indie 3d idol concert scene in the west all feels samey. It's a former NIJIEN (typically Mint or Doki) + a former holoEN + a former vshojoEN (usually Mouse) + the pick of the small idol girls who get put in everything Mariya/Phoebe/Pia/Pandora/Lisa/Rachie etc and then maybe throw in a twitch vsinger and that is your concert.
these concerts are paint by numbers now and predictable. It feels the same. No spice.

Mint's popularity compared to the other two is overwhelming. The other two girls just aren't good streamers by comparison, even if they can keep up on stage.

Actually really good on her own, but only on stage. Her streams are boring and in collabs (even outside densetsu) she's not exactly interesting. The only real clippable moments she gets is when she randomly brings out a foot fetish or something.
On stage she has some great charisma though and fun song choices. Recordings of her flesh idol performances are really entertaining. She's great at hyping up a crowd and getting them participating.

I just don't care about enough to even learn. She sings ok I guess. The closest thing she has to a notable personality is being British or her sonic the hedgehog obsession. I really do like her singing voice a lot, though. Love the deep voiced singers.

It's hard to not draw comparisons to other groups with Mint like the Sloppy Sisters, which while far worse singers have a lot more star power with each member and incredible synergy during collabs that helps enhance each girl rather than simply "How are these girls with Mint? No, I don't care how Vicky and Phoebe interact."

If the set up was different, then I would say this isn't that big of a deal. Like, say Mint was still as big as she is but she can't really dance/sing, but that Phoebe was a better dancer and Vicky was a better singer and they stole the show and got noticed, that is how it can work.

But the fact that Mint is their best dancer, singer, vtuber and 10x bigger than them? The others can't shine by comparison it is impossible. I just don't think there's a big enough market in the west for idols of the Akihabara type that Mint adores; big enough for the 3 of them to make a living out of it, but nothing notable outside of the vtuber sphere. I really like Vicky, I love her voice, I honestly would prefer for her to be a full time singer instead of straining her vocal cords on multiple gaming streams a week, but breaking out in the music scene is difficult, at least she's making enough for her Japan training arc. Love Vicky forever.
