Mark my words…Ik when Filian is coming back. We all know Filian has flair for the dramatic, an inclination for large scale events. She’s not the Mr beast of vtubing for nothing. Now the day she’s going to redebut (notice how I said redebut) is most likely the date of her departure. Remember the very last we saw of Filian, the cutting out into the black screen following the Minecraft hardcore with Vedal and crelly. Here’s where I break your mind, notice the shibuya teaser, a brief crackle in the billboard as we heard her voice as if she “lost”. We all know she’s lost, but lost where? It’s be easy to say “yeah probably lost in some internet space cause she’s probably playing up kayfabe” but I believe the exact location of where she’s “lost” is key here. We know the whole model controversy, how she settled behind the closed doors. But with that she probably lost all future rights to plushies and other sponsorships utilizing that model as her own brand. Not financially viable, especially if in the settlement with komado - there existed a clause in which the creator gets paid for every subsequent usage of the model (unfounded theory). We know filian is fiercely independent and not the type to want to be tied down to anything. Look at her opsec or even how she’s completely cut off communication with her so called “friends” and peers. She loves at her own speed. But back to the billboard. I believe this was a teaser that functioned as two things.
1. Keep hype alive and let others know she’s still alive
2. In a deeper sense suggest her new model/persona
Ik the rindou model is iconic and basically filian, but if the billboard is anything to go by, the Minecraft stream is probably the last we will ever see it. Think back to point one, if her purpose was to create hype and relieve people of her existence, why not flash her model? Why not keep with the “lost” theme and have her banging against the billboard “walls” before fading out? That would surely have been the more sensible thing to do instead of a brief voice message. So why only voice? In every new vtuber model debut, and I’m sure sure you all know this, the vtuber always loves to draw the reveal out. Maybe a shadowy silhouette, but part of the mystique is in the reveal (in my opinion I think they’re always drawn out and a bit cringe, but that’s entirely my own preference). Ok, so she will come back with a new model, but what’s with the wait? I said in the beginning of my post that it’d be the day of her last stream. But why? Another fact we know about filian, she’s if anything committed to the bit. That combined with how much she seems to love pop culture, I’d like to assume her wait is also a sort of kayfabe. She’s not lost in the internet, she’s lost in a complete different fictional world. At least that’s my theory. In this world, time moves very differently. What may have been an entire year for us, her return stream will immediately pick back up where she ended.
A black screen…..and then poof she’s back like no time has passed at all (think a dragon ball hyperbolic chamber). She’ll look completely different ofc (or at least I’m guessing keep the white hair and cat ears but different accessories or form asides from this ). She’ll excitedly tell us of how her new from came to be, and welcome her to “her world” as she so stated before. I don’t know if she’ll really keep up this bit/kayfabe for that long, we all know she’s probably dying to comment on all kinds of news in the vtubing space and or pop culture moments. The long wait will be habdwaved away of sorts, but she will give a sincere apology for the wait. But in a flash she’ll go back to flipping and entertaining as if no time’s passed. That’s the future I believe in, and the return debut that I figure to be most probably with all the breadcrumbs we have been fed.

Additionally regarding the wall. Yes, it was a carbon copy of the Reddit r/place thing. Also meant to build hype. But I sincerely believe had all of filian’s plans had been finished by then the wall reveal at the end would have been a true teaser for her new model and replaced the shibuya teaser. In my head, the wall reveal would have had filian tearing down or kool-aid man popping out from behind it in classic body humor style in her new form before the screen would have faded to black. Ofc, even at the end of this, the date of her return would still be the same as the one we have in this shibuya timeline. I may have downplayed the return, maybe she has something very very big event planned to signal her return following the “resume to staus quo” but I’m not too sure on that if numerous vtubers have heard neither hide nor tail from her. Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
