Hindsight is everything but before that point our team was doing well at quenching the /y/ attack while keeping pressure on them with repeated opportunities. I don't have any words to say other than that. We walked in with a plan and it worked for 90 minutes.

I saw the CBs losing stamina and the start of questionable plays so I decided to sub them out. I have no anger aimed at any of the managers, but it might be best to just step down and let new blood in who have the time. Everything from the polls, voting time frame, visuals. As an offense, you should be able to score 4 goals and win if you have a competent defensive gameplan. if you set up your team with a multigoal lead with basically just stoppage time left, you should win.

In general, we score goals. Always have. This is not a /pw/ level slurp team.

I've been involved in a variety of different cup formats across 4chan, so I figured I'd be transparent and direct to the point related to the team. Tenfold given I browse and engage with /vt/ a whole bunch as is...

One of the repeating sentiments shared is that whenever /vt/ end up losing or doing poorly, which has been a persistent pattern for the team for a while... Rather than offer help, we're more than incline to just say that those involved suck and that's it.

Okay. Great. They suck, maybe they quit based upon this result. Now what? What happens to the /vt/ team? See, nobody ever thinks that far ahead. Why? Because far too many of us are comfortable living upon the assumption that someone else will do it.

See, /vt/ has a big problem of actively getting people to BEE. Anyone of note or has desires to be involved with divegrass beyond the VTL have either been poached by external parties (/u/, /vg/, /vmg/, /sp/ etc.) or been burnt out by the forces that dictate the VTL divegrass format / swear off trying anything else. So this leaves a very small handful of people who care to BEE, almost all of whom are currently your management structure.

So If we did purely scout from within the VTL, well, would it work? Half of the names involved are caretakers. Okay. Fuck it, caretakers it is. Let /vt/ become a caretaken side and permit admin do the tactics. Well now what? Has such a path of action improved things? No, because the caretakers will still be held to judgement for other elements like audio, visuals or whatever else. Atop of the fact that many of you in the VTL are spooked/paranoid over autos and how strong/weak the randomization is.

Meanwhile if we do find enough fresh blood to BEE, you do realize that pretty much everyone who can be obtained from within the VTL have never live-managed once? Thus you'll have a team more inexperienced than those trying to get results currently.
