Happy Labor Day weekend. Let's try a paleoart thread and post up the greats--Lacerda, Knuppe, Knight, Ugueto, Barlowe, etc. Any style welcome, but looking for high quality art. Let's get inspired by the alien world of deep time.
Neglected to mention Mark Witton.
>>8114546wtf is up with that thing? All gray except for the traffic cone stripes at the tail, neck has massive skin folds hanging down like a leather rain coat or something
>>8114629Far and away one of my favorite pieces. It's really hard to get our heads around how out-of-this world seeing a sauropod lumbering through its environment would seem to our sensibilities. This gets us close to the surreality of that experience.
>>8114870That one looked like one of the babies had exposed leg bones
mobile welcome too
>>8114545>>8114982I love pastoral settings like these. The newest JP movie wasn't great, but I liked the scenes of the brontos and the t-rex rolling around in the grass.
>>8115276same, this latest JW was at least twice as good as the previous, which was one of the very worst movies I've ever seen. But they bothered this time to make the creatures look really good for the most part. Especially loved the poison dart frog compsognathus in one shot.
