A nice SFW Christmas papes thread. Looking for comfy Christmas feels, vintage Christmas aesthetics, all that good stuff. I know it's early, but c'mon. It's always fun.
That's all for my little collection, Enjoy, frens, and please feel free to contribute your own.

>>8123026Me neither, anon. Let's hope it's a good one, with plenty of snow.
>>8123019that's an amazing shot
We're in luck! I found a few more in some older folders.
I think that may really be it this time, but I may yet prove myself wrong. Feel free to share any fun memories or traditions with your contributions, if you like. For instance, my grandmother always made pizzelles in a press that left them with this gorgeous ornamental pattern. She'd put some food coloring in the batter, too, so some would be green and others red. I remember she put a little mint in the green ones, too. They were delicious. Her press and the recipe she used are long gone by now, though. I think she just worked off of memory. I'd kill for a stack of her pizzelles, even just one last time.
>>8123190I can relate to that. Also, I miss the snow. (At least were I live) we used to get a lot of snow during winter, but the last few years we get nothing. Its a real shame.

I wish it snowed more, its always just dark and cloudy where i live nowadays...
Christmas is my favorite holiday and makes the winter season infinitely more tolerable. I love the concept of an optimistic, religious holiday with beautiful lights, music, and decorations to counter an ugly weather season that is usually cold and dark. Lights, Holly, Garnish, mistletoe that are all lovely greens and reds. I embrace the challenge of gift giving, where other people turn cynical or stress out about it. I appreciate receiving gifts from companies I work for, friends, and family alike. I love gift giving and thinking of others; trying to improve their lives with my gifts. I like that a majority of the world and businesses take a pause from their busy lives and take a day of respite to spend time with the people that actually matter most to their lives. It's the one day that if it's snowing, hardly no one cares + it's actually beautiful because it's not a work day. I also appreciate the tradition of a Christmas dinner; breaking bread is becoming more rare in this culture of staring at computers all day. This is a great time of year to take time off from work and reflect upon the year and prepare for the new one. Furthermore, a good time to give thanks to Jesus for your blessings, or pray for one if religious enough.
