i should look into how storage tubes work, i'm only aware of them.
for anyone curious, those high resolution static images wouldn't have been possible or at least expensive to achieve using a standard display, as on a standard display anything on screen has to be stored in full in a framebuffer and constantly sent out to the display to maintain an image. a storage tube on the other hand, somehow is able to keep drawn elements on screen without refreshing, like the computer only draws the lines but doesn't need to have a copy of the final image in memory. that's why it draws the image in such a funky way, it's more like outputting to a plotter than a regular video display

Good job.
>>
>>5993522
its burning wood pellets. not only that, its a controlled burn of said wood, and the gas all gets sucked up and processed. FEMA even publishes designs and documents about them.
people do bonfires of garbage and plastics, EPA doesn't care. now, if they were going after somebody, I'm sure they would try to hit them with something. that's what agencies do, but its bullshit. the only byproduct is ash.
there's more concern for grills and heaters and stoves and such, which it appears the EPA really is going after, because they actually have emissions. (also bullshit, but feds gonna fed.)

it's a storage tube
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct-view_bistable_storage_tube

quite different to a regular crt where you draw an image from ram dozens of times a second, these instead draw the image to the screen and the screen "holds" the image on its' own. the display IS the memory
