I have asperger. I never have meltdowns like these people.
It's just that people find me strange and I find them strange and yeah it's making my life harder because I just can't bound with people despite me trying my best to.

Typically it always takes me time to understand sarcasm or other stuff because I tend to take everything literally. Also I have to force myself to look at someone's face when we talk because I just don't have the instinct to do so. Apparently my facial emotion is often not in line with my true emotionnal state so people are confused and can't understand me.

And I fail find-the-intruder puzzles or have a hard time solving them.

I've had pretty much the same problems my entire life. also I've for some reason had problems, at least when I was younger, what was socially acceptable. one example was a really long time ago, in elementary school, I saw some kids playing around and one pushed another on the ground, they were friends so it was okay, they just kept messing around. for whatever reason, I thought it was okay for me to do the same thing to that kid, I went up to that small group of kids and pushed him. they of course got pissed but only just pushed me on the ground and was like "wtf are you doing?" and walked away.

I did other similar things growing up, I'm now going into my 40s and still not diagnosed with anything, but I suspect I have something. not to say I want to have something, just that, with all my life experience, even being in the Army for a few years when I was younger (that was nothing but a bunch of really awkward and embarassing 4 years for me), I'm still very awkward

Autism is a disability, people with it aren't smarter than they'd be without it, that's just cope by parents of autistic children (or children who are not autistic but get called that due to a lack of social skills that they never get taught because the parents were told it's an incurable permanent disorder). And psychologists are being told to please stop using "asperger syndrome" these days, but when they were using it, it meant kids who could basically function independently but still had problems reading other people, empathizing, or understanding abstract concepts. It seems to have a lot to do with how your brain handles patterns. Basically your brian ingrains certain patterns of behaviour more strongly and has a harder time deviating from those patterns as a result. This is how you get special interests and savant syndrome, for example. There are other things like sensory sensitivites and social difficulties, but really those are also the result of how autistic brains handle patterns; some sensory inputs make patterns that are hard to deal with, and social interactions are sometimes unpredictable so you default to certain topics and phrases that you script for in advance.

But really, read into it yourself and you'll probably find better information than what anyone here can give you. There's more information on the topic out there now than ever before, and it's generally pretty accessible. Just don't base your knowledge off of the kind of stuff that's been posted ITT.
