That's gotta be Malaysia. Honestly they're pretty based and western. Ever notice on Google Maps when you switch over from shithole Indonesia to Malaysia they have nice lawns?

What the fuck is a cockle?
Also, I bet it is sweet in the most unfortunate way. Not a fan of Asian shit, they put too much sugar into everything.
>>
>>6002514
You sound like a retard teenager pretending to be an adult. You could have googled it but instead showed everyone you're too retarded to do that. The rest of what you said was just outright stupid.
>>
>>6002767
Sorry I offended you. Your cuisine is shit. Sugary meats left and right. Fucking disgusting.
>>
>>6003015
Every culture on earth has some form of BBQ sauce which includes sugar. You're an idiot.
>>
>>6003030
It isn't about just including, but really overpowering the pallet with it. People like to go on and on about how sugary American food is but as a person who is used to American food, eastern Asian cuisines just go insanely overboard with their sugar use. Korean BBQ is impossible to enjoy for me. Same for so many Chinese dishes. Many of the Japanese marinades, I feel the same way about. The sugary onions sauce reduction they do tastes absolutely atrocious to me. I am not trying to shit talk, just a conversation. I wish these dishes tasted to me as good as they look. I would love to have savory, hearty dishes that look this amazing and enjoy their flavor. Not against caramelization and stuff, I get it. I am just saying they do too much for me.

I have even been to Beijing and to legit places because my ex's father lived there. Definitely better food than the American interpretation but still has the sweetness overpowering the savoriness of the dish.
>>
>>6003187
Yea because no one lies on the Internet.... The vast majority of Chinese dishes do not include sugar or other sweeteners. It's obvious your lying to anyone who's ever eaten at an actual Chinese restaurant.

I am all for conspiracies but that would be a weird one. So I am working on some grand scheme to get in the way of the Chinese cuisine dominating the world or something?
>>

No just ego.
>>
>>6003282
Man, who cares what I think about how sweet the Chinese food is. I am just a random anon. You seem to really take an offense, though. Since you know all about Chinese food, why not recommend me a dish? Give me the most savory meat dish that I cannot find too sweet. Even Sichuan beef has a sweet tone to it.
