Anyone have an idea how he's generating these? Is it just straight veo3?
>>5992123Bump
>>5992265I surely don't
>>5992128I would even pay if someone made high-res animated backgrounds that look like some of these shots, if they loop seemlessly.
>>5992123>>5992124>>5992128Anything AI makes me immediatly lose interest. What's the point if it's not real or made by anyone? It's like peaking into someone's brain. Whoah you have a vague idea, but like, it's not tangible so what's the fucking point. I just do not care
>>5995594still looks pretty cool to mehave you ever tried making anything with AI and have it actually look good?it still takes a creative and intelligent mind to be able to come up with prompts that are as elaborate and immersive as OP's videosthere are multiple scenes in the ones OP posted too, so the person creating these has to have some sort of storytelling skills as wellto your point though, its mostly slop out there but some of these are pretty good
>>5996029I think the AI does make it look good but I actually find the human elements of this to be the weakest part of it. The actual "writing" does nothing to explain any sort of plot, its just a bunch of guys aura farming and we're supposed to assume there's some epic plot behind it all. If whoever makes these can actually deliver on that then I'll concede he's got talent, but to me it just seems like mediocre ideas and tropes hard carried by the art.
>>5996029>takes a creative and intelligent mindIts all just slop. It might be interesting visuals for a 30 second video but its nothing of substance. It has never gone further than being kind of cool for less than a minute
>>5995594Good for YOU, dear. What would we have thought next without your insight? My god, I tremor at the thought of that other timeline.
>>5996029That's not even true when you can ask LLM to make the prompt for you. The more people use it, the worse they become at thinking, imagining, talking etc.
>>5992124this one is by far the best, but it lacks any real meaning or thought behind it.most AI users are creatively bankrupt.
>>5996439Challenge:Make a video that proves this guy wrong.likely, you can'tThe last 4 videos past his post exactly fall into his truth.
>>5996439>Its all just slop.its not all slop, just mostly i got setup with full on comfy UI workflowsand being a tech dude it wasnt that hardbut the hard part, was coming up with good promptsI just dont have that kind of creative intelligence...do you?do what this anon says, and report back your findings:>>5996673>>5996577if its so easy, show us frenmaybe get some advice from >>>/g/diffusion first?

I have to admit, with a mixture of wonder and sorrow, some of these show some promise. IMO these tools are only going to empower people who have creative braincells to rub together. I dont think one person will ever be able to create something truly great (marketable $$$) with GenAI though. They would need have an advantage in all categories (cinematography, color correction/tones, script writing, character design, acting, voice acting, visual FX, music/composition, costume design... just the tip of the iceberg). The webms posted are woefully lacking a cohesive vision that beautifully ties together all the disciplines required to make a masterpiece of digital media> 2 cents
>>6008614This.The moron shills don't know what we are even saying....We aren't saying AI is a pile of shit.Right now it is a sniper rifle being carried by sheep. "Technology advanced enough would become indistinguishable from magic" or however the quote goes actually. Just miniaturize all the working bits enough and add a ton of gaudy blink for no reason other than to arouse awe in the lesser peoples. We (and by that I mean myself mostly) need more of that shit and significantly less of the usual, sterile, boring bullcrap.
when is someone going to remake shadow wizard money gang
>>5997311Gossip Goblin channel is amazing
>>6003120shit, this is so fucking cool with the pixel art and the adventure time ambient
I got mixed opinions seeing these. On the one hand I can't lie - some of these visuals are real cool, man. The problem is that it's unglued from any story, or worse yet, any characters to care about. And I know you guys know that and are just admiring the visuals. I just wish that it wouldn't go to waste. I'm an artist, so when I see something AI, there's that feeling of wanting to make something more of it so it doesn't get lost or buried underneath the mountain of unimaginative AI shit that keeps building by the second. All the stuff with seeing the back of knights as they stand in some foggy environment or a wizard walking around, boring. But every now and then there's a flicker, like this video >>5997316 at 19 seconds in. And >>6003054 at 2 to 5 seconds. I'm a strong believer in the idea that it's not where you take something from, but where you take something to. So if AI's going to rip off everyone and everything, could any of these people who generated a video be upset that I took something to use for myself?

>>6011426are these parsed together from multiple gens?
>>6010842I think the best way to use AI is to guide it to tell a story that you want, but don't have the skills to do. To that end the archive in between/pale lodge stuff itt is really cool. I don't know how much of the lore was itself generated by the AI and how much is the creator writing the script for the videogen, but it's coherent enough to be interesting and the AI gen gives it visuals that would simply not have been possible without it. Prior to AI this would've just been some autistic blogposting nobody would care enough to read, at best.
>>5995594You will be left in the dust, obsolete faggot. You have less value than AI
>>6011494No, Redditor, YOU are the trooncel!!!>hint: putting a space between (you's) has never been reddit spacing.>is that you Pajeet? or Zhang?
>>6011617Yes. ffs, yes. Your average gen is 5 seconds.>>5999629So, question:is there an AI generator that will accept text critiques?....especially separate from the process of generating.
>>6012642What do you mean by accept critique? These models don't learn from user input if that's what you're getting at.
>>6012655so...how the fuck do you train it?
>>6012698There are two phases: training and inference. Training requires much more resources and inference is playing back the pretrained neural network. During inference it doesn't learn at all. Sometimes LLMs fake learning by keeping your chat history in its context (current working memory) but it's a parlor trick.People train models with new information and provide a model update with that new training data. "Accepting critique" in that sense would mean humans looking at how people interact with it and intentionally addressing those shortcomings. You could also say "accept critique" means try again with a different prompt but that's not the model learning, just adjusting the user interaction under the hood during inference.
all I've learnt from ai is that Hollywood fucking sucks
>>6013484>late 90s/ early 2000s music video be like
>>6010978How did the solar flare destroy the robots but not the space ships?
>>6012568That’s true enough. I think about. Oil stuff in AI the same way I do when you see a beautiful looking cloud sky or a sunrise. You slow down and stop to admire it. Maybe you even take a picture. T affects you. But then you forget about it and a few weeks later you look at it and your first thought is “oh right, I had this saved.” And then you delete it. Either AI though, I know it’s easy to dismiss it as slop and shit, for the most part I agree. But every now and then there’s that feeling of not wanting something that looks cool to evaporate into thin air. I wanna use it cause I feel like no one else will.
>>6013910day of the rope for Hollywood, soon
>>6015284Yeah, the real usecase for AI is not having it come up with ideas, it's letting people who have ideas but not skills or times put them to use. Being competent yourself at e.g. storytelling is essential for the AI-assisted creation to be good. If you tell the AI to "just generate me X", it's gonna be slop. But if you have a vision for X, have the AI generate it for you, refine it, re-prompt it, maybe touch it up by hand later - that's the perfect usecase for AI.This is true for everything btw, IMO. I use AI at work for programming daily, and it can appear very competent at times, outputting code that can solve pretty involved problems. But if you just let it shit out slop for you, the codebase quickly becomes slop. I've found that even reviewing the AI's code is not good enough - it's what I used to do at first and I honestly observed the quality of my own work dropping; nowadays I make sure that I know exactly what code needs writing first, and then use AI to fill in the gaps under my direct guidance. It's still noticeably faster than writing out every last detail by hand, and it lets me make sure the code is entirely up to my standards.AI is not an "invent me a complete work out of thin air!" tool, it's a better smart fill tool. Much, much, much better, but still only a fill tool, and the output is only as good as the framework that you give it for filling can guide it.
