RIP to comfy threads. Peaked during COVID and have been in decline ever since.
Anyone have song source for this?
>>6024611Embarrassing that you can't find it yourself in this day and age, anon. Open wide, here comes the spoon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIo_8ICky2s
>>6024645I don't speak Russian and I'm not installing some app and giving it all my personal info to figure out the source of one or two songs a year.
>>6020139Had a little bout of depression but I'm doing better.>>6022550Snow Magic Fantasy by Sekai No Owari. Obviously a music box remix of some sort.
>>6019922Doing what I can. Finishing college next year. Hopefully by this time next year I won’t be depressed anymore
>>6025886Yeah, you're in that phase where it's just one day at a time. Keep at it. Hopefully, you're majoring in something useful and can immediately transition into a permanent position.
Here’s something I grabbed from a previous thread from *checks notes* over two years ago. Time flies, huh?
Kinda depressing but fall is comfy
>>6023281What's the song used in this one? AHA couldn't identify it.
>>6028389Found the right one its slowed version of Gucci Omniboihttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffitWzHRa_U
>>6023281>>6028389>>6028808guy had a DLive channel that played it 24/7 during the covid scamdemic
>>6028372there is an epic train route that runs from Chicongo along the Northern border through ND, Montana, Idaho that is supposed to be amazing the dining car and lounge car have glass viewing domed rooves shame it stop in Seattle but there is another train that departs there and then runs up the coast into Canuckistan and eventually Alaska with final stops at either Anchorage or Fairbanks I want to take both trips just once
>>6025957>Yeah, you're in that phase where it's just one day at a timeYup. Trying my best everyday not to fuck up>Hopefully, you're majoring in something useful and can immediately transition into a permanent position.Haha lol. I’m a retard and would’ve dropped out if I tried a STEM degree or some business degree. I’m just getting a Poli Sci degree since my best classes have always been history and social studies. Not the best, but there’s worse picks out there
>>6030450I honestly don't know what to do with a Poli Sci degree, but yeah, at least you didn't do CS or IT.

>>6019922I've been meeting up with an old friend recently. I hadn't seen him regularly for about 6 years. I've met up with him three times as of late. I shot him a message a month ago and he was excited to meet back up. We just go on walks around town and talk about life. Because of covid and related events that happened after it I never got to be a kid. I had to grow up quickly because things were bad for me. For example, I never got to go to highschool. When I'm with him it feels like I get to experience hits of what it's like to be a teen.

there was a cool webm in the cool comfy shit thread of a brief shot in a snowy field at night with chill music playing like in vid relatedI thought I dl'd it, but I did not :(
>>6042637>there was a cool webm in the cool comfy shit thread of a brief shot in a snowy field at night with chill music playing like in vid relatedclosest one I got, sorry lad
>>6043036np, thanks anyway anon. Still very nice
>>6042637I think I found it on the archives, but the file is no longer accessible and there wasn't any others posted like it before or since. Better hope the anon who made it sees it and blesses you with a respost.
Maybe we have the technology to sauce this now
does anyone have the clip of the deer on the beach with aphex twin music?
>>6030827It teaches a lot about government, some public administration, lots of international relations, political campaigns, and is apparently a precursor to going into law school
>>6043629thx anon, I appreciate it. Here's hoping!
>>6042637Speaking of snowy fields. Not sure which video you're speaking about, but I do hope you find it.
>>6018348Does anyone have the webm of some sort of rotund rodent in the desert sleeping in an upright position while a cozy music plays in the background?
>>6019239Peace, fren. Thanks.
>>6048019Someone found it, thanks: >>6048186
1:05 starts get really good
I've been looking for this one particular webm for a while. It's a forest scene that has tiny creatures playing instruments made out of natural items like fungus or what have you. It just looks like tiny little people in a fantasy type setting. Starts with one guy playing a mushroom like the bongos as I recall and then one by one others join in.
>>6049676my favorite song from chrono trigger, and i can't show it to anyone who hasn't played it because they don't know the context that makes it so sad

>>6054127I really like this one>>6055006that's a pretty nice gondola webm
>>6030333I remember a vid where it had this same scene but the audio was just some melancholic humming. Saw it on some feels threads before
>>6055671bump
>>6051119I don't. I like a lot of the chill tracks in these though, that's part of the reason I like them.I see Snowfall by øneheart x reidenshi used a lot though. It's popular bc it's good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlN8MPS7KQs
>gondolas being posted in the comfy threadIt stings. Not because of strict adherence to thread etiquette, but because they are being posted to prop up the dying thread. A few years ago it felt like that never had to happen. The mainstay threads would regularly hit bump limit and everyone had a good time. It's like watching a thriving ecosystem dry up. The plants and animals that once flourished are withered and rotting, and all that's left is a dry basin. Any signs of life are quickly sprayed with pesticides (new captcha, moderation team) and OC is one in a hundred.I love 4chan. It hurts.

>>6035200iirc some anon circa 2015 made this song and posted it here, its still my favorite classic comfy webm and i always love to see it posted again. Shame we'll never get the full song or know who made it, but I guess thats the beauty
>>6060365 I remembered unknown songs from when I was a kid, with some taking as long as 10-15 years to find the source. This song however, will most likely haunt me with no source util the day I die.
>>6019922OK I suppose. Life has been in an "upswing". Got a job this year, bought a nice car on a loan that I can pay off (provided I keep the job). No friends since forever. Only my mom who I really keep a social connection with. Get on well enough with my co-workers. Life fucking blows is my opinion, and I missed my youth in its entire. Maybe I can do something worth living for in my 30s or 40s. If my mom dies before that I'll R.E Howard myself, thoughbeit.TLDR shit sucks but I go on, hoping for the best like a loser. These sorta threads make it all that much more bearable. I hope to get off my ass and learn how to make content for them. Any day now.I hope you anons have a much better 2026 than 2025. If you deserve it.Happy NYE anyhow!

Anons, what qualities do you like to see in comfy vids? Anything that makes your favorites stand out from the others, or anything that you just like in general?

>>6018368This one sucks me right in. Amazing job who ever made this
>>6019922Not great. This past year I had to break up with the woman I thought I'd marry, because she wanted me to move to NY with her but I couldn't leave my father alone. He needs me, to get groceries for him, to push his wheelchair, for a lot of little things. She needed to move towards her future but I'm stuck here, until he passes anyway. Part of me hopes its soon, but then I feel sick for thinking so. I love him and truly cherish our time together.. but it hurts sacrificing so much.I'm turning 34 this year and I worry that I've let the one big love of my life slip away.
>>6030827What game is this?
>>6068286i am a big fan of videos like>>6067985>>6057868>>6055006>>6028913the lonely cityscapes and empty rooms, combined with the right music/ambient it sometimes inspires a truly overwhelming sense of nostalgia

>>6024764This image bothers me because the artist doesn't seem to know how tire tracks work.
>>6018348My eternal lament with Comfy threads is that it's often hard to find the music behind the clips, and the songs are some of my favorites.
>>6055006Is this supposed to suggest suicide? I see pills strewn around the floor near a blister pack. There's a water bottle behind them. Maybe someone we can't see OD'd, leaving the window open so they could enjoy the breeze and the view during their final moments.

I think there's a lot of comfy potential in osrs.world recordings. This is my first time messing around with it, so pardon the jankiness/quality. Soundtrack is Lagoon from the area in the webm. I always crank up the music volume on my seaweed runs>can't upload fileshttps://files.catbox.moe/p9iq3c.webm [6M]https://files.catbox.moe/d3p3h6.mp4 [47M]First time trying to post since the site went down a bit ago. >>6024658that was my favorite music from that area in original wow. its what got me to get into classic. id played on a private server for over a year up until a month until its release (in august). I boughta 2 month card in december, but then never used it until february. kept watching Asmon WoW play videos until I remembered that areas music and listened to it drunk one night at 4am then thats when i used my card and got into the game. the 2nd song btw, one that i remembered that i got into the game with. that area had the best music and i remember it the most from vanilla, running around that area, big area, without a mount
>>6048013I remember one of the last times my sister came over, she spent the night, slept on the couch. She asked for something to watch and I gave her my book of burnt shit and she picked this movie and watched it. one of the last times when I talked to her really.she listens to dipshits and won't talk to anyone but them
my fav comfy images either have no people in or a single person to self insert as
>>6035198Always liked this one. What was written on that letter? What is the story here? What has them frozen in place? This always struck me as sad, they recieved bad news, and we know it, just not the full picture, it's their story.
>>6087768I love when vidya do that, not an MMO player, but sometimes the setting, music, atmosphere, are just so kino, you just walk slowly and let it all engulf you.Honestly really glad you shared this, i always thought i was a weirdo for doing that, turns out I'm not alone :D
>>6088668why does the tree have it's own scanlines?
Searching for an old one of a teenage couples relationship montage with snapchat-like captions and this one gay looking Asian pulling a string by both ends around a chair leg. The music is very bassy and deepfried and synthy and in one part there's a dog paddling through the air out of the window of a speeding car with the caption "we are infinite" and also a short clip of a cheap disco ball but not the sequiny one the multicolored light projector one. Very thank of anyone has, trying to find out what the song was for nostalgic reasons k thx

I am turning 30 this year. The agepill hits hard.
>>6063274
>>6092875Scary thing is, nothing changes anymore from that point and you don't want it to. You want everything to stay the same as what you're used to, because you're getting too old to try and keep up.
>>6094253I am very close to resigning from my job, but I keep hesitating because the money is too good. Used to be very comfy WFH with minimal oversight, but we were recently acquired by a megacorp and now it's back to weekly meetings, regular 1-to-1s with my new manager. No more cozy times. Now I will have to put the mask on and pretend like I give a shit.
>>6095394If you plan on quitting anyway you might as well try your luck with simply asserting yourself and saying you performed better and were generally happier in your job while doing wfh.If they don't even bother taking it into consideration and immediately go on the "this is how we do things" train of thought then you at least know things aren't going to change.
I want to go back
>>6093497Good post sir / ma'dam
>>6049960I relate to this feeling. But I think this melancholic lack of being able to share this has something beautiful to it aswell. It's like in those movies where children find out about this secret magical world and have a huge adventure, then come home and noone ever knows about what they went through.Even as I aged I still feel like a little kid sometimes thinking of all these beautiful worlds and stories i was allowed to explore that so many people will never experience.
One of the only things i still find comfort in is my collection of comfy webms. They won't leave me like everyone else.
