>>6042389Technology is cool, the problem is with new technologies (steam engine and what came after) they are so complicated to make that they require the cooperation of a much larger amount of humans in order to be built. Every human working for the construction of a new technology is reduced to the state of an ant in the hive with almost no maneuver in his work. Whereas with old technologies, a craftsman was responsible for a huge part if not all the construction of the technology and therefore had autonomy.
