>got the urge to listen to some Deep Purple - Machine Head>enter the thread and there it isSome freaky coincidence this is
>>6065025Glad I could be there for you in your time of need.Trying to mix it up a little. Don't have a whole lot of punk, but plenty of the classics.
>>6065025I had a lot of weird shit happen since new yearsespecially with numbers, had massive deja vu feeling yesterday for like 5 minutes.something is going onno I'm not schizophrenic, just have weaponized tism
This one's for you, Chappy.
>>6066285I have this album and I enjoy it. The very late 80's and early 90's were the epitome of the genre.
>>6066352It was the apex of glam rock. When it started getting serious, right before Pantera showed up and crushed everything.Shit like this is the soundtrack of my teenage years.
>>6059133The dude sued nirvana's copyright holders and got a shitton of money for it not too long ago
One of my favorite b-sides. Not sure why. It's a rather unremarkable song from like 40 years ago, but for some reason it touches me in a very special place.
Another favorite b-side from an almost universally hated album by an almost universally loved band. And I don't even get why. There's more than a few good songs on this one.
>>6067369>That's the one record that I really paid not enough attention to because I was really bitter about what kind of music was popular. I thought it was, was very frat boy stuff, and maybe that's why it was popular, I don't know. So Diabolus didn't get as much attention from me because, you know, we didn't stay in focus. Looking back we were just saying, "alright, how do we make Slayer fit into today's society?" But, that's probably my least favorite record of our history. That's our Turbo [laughs].Kerry King in the 2011 VH1 documentary series Metal Evolution
>>6067426Yeah, there's that. It still had a few good songs. That one. Bitter Peace. Love to Hate. Stain of Mind. I'd go so far as to call it their last halfway decent album. For reference, please see God Hates Us all, Christ Illusion, and World Painted Blood. B-Sides and Rarities was in the mix somewhere along the line, and that's worth a listen just for the novelty of it. (I don't care what anyone says, I like techno remixes of metal songs.)
I'd argue their greatest sin is that they really never changed. Not one bit. And I get it. You're fucking Slayer. You got a brand to protect. This is probably (imo) the best song off their last album. It's still Slayer, but it's Slayer after huffing nitrous or something. And I get that, too. OK. You're 70. You've been screaming for forty years. Then they starterd arguing about money and that was that, I think. Some tour shows? idk.I'm just babbling now.Carry on.
>>6067451lmaowoopsnot sure what heppend there

>>6048593>No AI slopYou should also add 'No Abhorrence' to your title as the last few dumps have truly broken this thread's good streak.
>>6067918>>6068313Did one of the band members not give you a reacharound when he was jackhammering your ass or something?
>>6067692>he doesn't know
>>6068278yeah sorry but it's not hard to imagine two homosexual men making passionate love in the toilet of a gaybar with that band on the stage in the next room.
>>6068955You find it easy to think about 2 men fucking each other? I only think about women.
>>6068988your taste in music suggests otherwise.
>>6066523Great! Thx anon! Do you have Fly To Angels?

See, you see OP... You see what happens when you don't maintain your thread? It gets shit on with AI slop. You deserved it.
>>6076548le
>>6076554where is the ai?
>>6076554idk what you mean by "maintain" the thread, its not like OP can control when people post trash.
>>6078152Nice song, like the chainsaw novelty
>>6078915i always thought they were kind of an ac/dc ripoff. they had their moment back in the early 90s but got old pretty quick. their first album practically the whole a-side got air time then you just never heard of them again.they put on an album in 2010. more embracing of their southern roots.
