>>6072215Who's Dilbert comics literally changed my life and I owe a lot of my success to his comics.I'm sure the comics were created just for entertainment purposes but I actually learnt from them. I knew what ISO compliance was before I even got to corporate America thanks to Dilbert. I also learnt a lot of lingo that I used throughout my career and buzzwords to avoid if I didn't want to sound like an idiot or an asshole. I also learnt a great deal from the character Wally. Wally taught me about work-life balance and how important it is to take a step back and gain some perspective once in awhile. Through his wisdom, I have managed to work half as many hours as my peers do while making three times their salary. I haven't been into an office 9 years, I wfh. I probably could make more if I was willing to go into an office, but thanks to Wally, I understand that I make enough to be happy and working from home is more important than pure cash. I don't know anything about Scott Adams outside of his Dilbert comics and Dilbert books, but I'm grateful for his influence.
