i need to finish an 8 hour online course by monday, i paid for it and they gave me the credentials, the only problem is that the video player is horrendously slow and it takes like half a minute to load 1 second of video. trying to leave it sitting to buffer doesn't really work past a minute or two and sometimes it just straight up doesn't work even if the bar says it has buffered a little bit. needless to say support is fucking useless, they just told me to log back in or refresh the page and essentially that it's my fault for having a shitty connection (which i admit is not great but i don't have this kind of problem on any other website) so i basically wasted 30 euros on it. i heard there's some way to download videos from websites in these cases so i was thinking of watching it that way and then just try to suffer through pretending i'm watching it online which will take an absurd amount of time and i can't even leave it sitting there while afk since if i don't stay tabbed in and click on the "are you still watching?" popup then the video stops playing. please help i'm just trying to get a fucking job
picrel is my retarded ass wondering if i can even get a refund

Developer tools>Network. Here you'll see all the files your browser has downloaded to serve the website (e.g. the pngs of the logos, sound files etc.). Filter it by Media and then refresh the page. Sort by file size and hopefully there's an mp4 url that is the video.
Alternatively do inspect element on the video player - it's wishful thinking but maybe the raw HTML contains the source URL.

A website is a collage of multiple resources. Each resource has it's own URL, and the URL tells the website where to get the resource from. Clicking that button you are hovering over will copy the URL of the resource, not the URL of the website.

In picrel I've used the resource tab to find the url of the image
I can then open the image in a separate tab, right click, and then 'save as'.

I've had good results with Firefox and this add-on: https://www.downloadhelper.net/
