I got a free Chromebook from my work (after 5 years, the workplace device is disposed of so I picked it up) and I'm trying to install linux on it so I found this guide https://www.lifewire.com/install-linux-on-chromebook-4125253
And using VT-2 is a pain so I found this guide https://github.com/oddbyte/howto-use-sudo-in-crosh/tree/main

I entered developer mode on Chromebook, got into VT2, login as chronos, typed this out as the guide said bash <(curl -L git.io/vddgY) && . ~/.bashrc
But when I clicked enter it sends this response:
bash/dev/fd/63: command not found
Followed by:
curl: (23) Failure writing output to destination

tl;dr
How do I install Linux on Chromebook?
