Is this similar to what I just went through. I was fucking with a Genesis emulator and mapping my controller and wondering why the absolute fuck I couldn't "still-spin" or whatever and I googled and ran into some forums with some dudes saying in the very original Sonic the Hedgehog that wasn't a move.

I Don't remember that being the case. Anyways, still looking for a rom with that ability but haven't bothered to look for it.
