My laptop is almost a decade old and I think it's starting to go. I know jack shit about electronics/computers so I don't even know where to begin to look for a new one. I would use it for basic shit like emails and the Internet but I've been thinking about getting into gaming, specifically walking simulator-esque games like Firewatch, Outlast, Rachel Foster and a few others. Are there any laptops that would run games like that easily? I'm looking to spend as little as possible for something that will last me a while but I'm open to anything

>>1542496it's hard to hold game benchmarks for every laptop in my head, and if you don't provide any budget, your fav online store or your location then I'd say the best laptop for your use will be some 2000+ dollars machine (actually around 700). I recommend you look up laptops on amazon (for example) in your approxiamte spending range and either watch the youtube benchmarks of your games for each laptop, or the CPU's benchmarks.alternatively, consult charts like pcgamer dot com slash best-gaming-laptop. just make sure it's got SSD, at least 8-16GB ram and is not older that 2-3 years>>1542938I will assume ADVAN TBOOK is better for both cases. the CPU has twice as many cores and 3x the benchmark of the other laptop.
