I just mechanically resized the 4chan logo and made it fit within a 16x16 array and cranked up the saturation. There's also a mask to help enumerate the pixels.
From afar they looks alright but less so closer up. They work better with darker backgrounds.

forgot to mention these two are upscaled directly from the 16x16 images
so I didn't remove the blur but rather upscaled whilst avoiding the introduction of any blur in the first place
