The anime I'm looking for is feature-length (not series), the drawings and overall style (color palette, character\world design, effects and worldbuilding) is realistic as is the story. Which is dark. It's about a man returning to small village after getting an education in teaching. There are troubles in the village and general ugliness about everything. There is a girl that runs away from home is forced into prostitution\raped. Her family finds out about it, brings her back into the village and locks her in a shed. She commits suicide by hanging herself on a door handle. There is some rumors about a demon being responsible for all the bad things. It's not confirmed until the very last minute of the anime when we see raped dead girl's father praying at some evil altar. I think the country production is Japan or some other east asian country. Animation style is definitely 2D and looks hand-drawn (I don't know if actually is). Setting is modern day rural area. The "demon" rumor is treated as suspicion\rumor, not actual supernatural. There were no scenes with rituals or flashbacks.
