I’m researching ancient Greece and came across this paper by a Minas Tsikritsis on an astronomical calculator made by the Minoans. I looked up the author to verify the paper was legit (seems it is but Tsikritsis believes in Atlantis being a real place so IDK) and discovered the guy made an Adobe Flash version of the ancient clock. Unfortunately I can’t find the program anywhere which sucks balls. If anyone could find this program and post it here that’d be insane.Paper is link 1. Video presentation in Greek where Tsikritsis using the program is link 2.Picrel is a low-res screenshot of the program I found.https://www.maajournal.com/index.php/maa/article/view/945/856https://youtu.be/cY9HbQFAw2w
>>1544723the plate is real, the interpretation as an astronomical object is just speculation. You can do all sort of calculations with a regularly subdivided circle - but it does not mean that it was used for this.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minoan_Moulds_of_Palaikastro
>>1544896also, the museum has/had a computer with a program - perhaps you can ask there.https://www.cretesitia.gr/index.php/en/sight-seeing-archeological-sites/archaeoastronomy
