Recently employed former Hikki NEET (Texas if that's important) It would be a vast improveent to drive (live in the middle of nowhere with zero transit, and can only get so much help from family members) how do I go about it, parents not there to tell me, so I need some pointers
>>1546224Take your birth certificate or any other form of identification proof and get your ass to the DMV office of the department of public safety. Schedule a class C appointment on the DPS website over here: https://www.dps.texas.gov/section/driver-license/driver-license-services-appointmentsMake sure to go early if you're close to the metro area, usually they'll answer any questions at the office, and they'll have pamphlets on any information regarding it.The appointment will probably take a month or two, so enjoy waiting around for a bit, learn about the driving controls, the best advice i can give you is to not go over speed, and to be confident, the written tests are piss easy, but make sure to view the rear view mirrors, that's how you usually make a good impression on the instructors.if you're below 25, you probably have to take a course or something else before appliance iirc, but that's all i can give and all i know, good luck.
I suggest calling your local church. I bet someone will be willing to take you if you don't mind talking about our lord and savior Jesus for the duration of the drive. Maybe you'll make a friend from it.
