I saw it in the very early 2000s, probaby 2001, on TV. it was basically Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy except it was in color. Perhaps a remake? It was a comedy film, where a mummy gets resurrected by placing an ancient Egyptian mask on it. In the end they defeat the mummy when accidentally knock the mask off his head. Similarly to Abbott and Costello or Laurel and Hardy, there were two main characters, one of them with a hopeless crush on the main female character. Overall it felt like Mouse Hunt but with a mummy
