I work as a programmer and as a music producer wannabe.
Because of the music production, I recently stumbled with the need of generating a click track for a bad vintage recording and I was looking for AI options to generate a click track for an audio file I provide.

However I would hate to upload anything to a cloud-based AI system, specially because almost all of them uses your audio for their training (it's in their terms and conditions). Also I wanna do it myself, as an introductory exercise to generative AI.

So as a software engineer, I tough that I could try and create an OSS that uses AI to do exactly what I need. I had a very basic understanding of AI models like 10 years ago, but the AI technology went from diappers to having a whole company and a family in a matter of 5 years, so I'm very lost on where to even begin to look for information.

I would greatly appreciate any help and guidance.

I don't know the first thing about music production, but the local models general on /g/ can help you understand the basics of running something yourself
