I'm learning how societal control systems are engineered (on the basis of writings on the Sumerian ziggurat system) and I'm looking for anime on the topic. What I've found:>Shin Sekai Yori>Malice Doll>Dr. Stone>Texhnolyze>Haibane Renmei>Kiznaiver>Psycho Pass>Code Geass>Black LagoonThese really make "the system" one of the protaganists.Recommendations?>Made a post about this on the wrong board just before:https://desuarchive.org/a/thread/283920763/
Terra e..., Sayonara Ginga Tetsudou 999, 1000-nen Joou, Choujin Locke, Megazone 23, Kaze no Na wa Amnesia, Metropolis
I'm currently watching Black Butler, it looks like it may also fit the theme; ep. 1 does with the "hospitality faking" and Lord | Butler | workers hierarchy, but it remains to be seen how it develops. It may do the "court" niche better than Overlord. Overlord is too much of a power-trip series to learn much from. Although in a way it does go into some depth re.: court dynamics, precisely because everything is so stacked in favor of the protag.>>1549434>Sayonara Ginga Tetsudou 999, 1000-nen JoouCould be good, maybe related to the niche the Foundation Trilogy goes for.>Choujin LockeLong-history scenery and "limited-influence observer" protag, could be good.>Megazone 23Immersed-to-birdseye story ("discovering the REAL ...").>Kaze no Na wa AmnesiaInterregnum.>MetropolisZiggurat mentioned, rigid class society...
>>1549432Can't believe /a/ failed to mention Boku No Pico. I'd suggest Tomodachi game, particularly the manga.
>>1549595>Boku No Pico>picrelUhhh...>Tomodachi GameWhy do you suggest it?Black Butler S1 wasn't great. It has some charm to it alright, but no real info.
