I've been unemployed for seven years, and I've lost hope. It hurts a lot.
I ask that you give me hope, somehow; with words

You want actual advice, anon? Go into security. Just go on indeed and search in "Overnight security" and apply to every job. Make up on your resume that you have worked security in a bar for the past four months. Bar security guards do not need a license in the USA, all other security guards do need a license. If you get the job (which if you apply to like five places, certainly atleast one will hire you) they will sponsor you for a liscense. Bing bang boom $20/hr to sit on your ass looking at security cams.
Try getting a temp gig at a warehouse for the holiday season. I did that a couple years ago, and it ended up turning into a non temp gig.

>>1550668This is advice based on my own pitfalls and fuckups in life. I really stress to watch your health. My advice is to workout. It boosts your confidence and self motivation. Take baby steps. Lay off the junk food and fast food if that's your main food. Eat a balanced meal. Cooking meals is way cheaper than eating out. Have a descent sleep schedule. Keep up with basic hygiene. This sounds harsh but people will judge you based on how you look for interviews. Its important to watch your health. Since you are not working its easy to get depressed and let your health go. When you are depressed its hard to focus on your well being. No exercise and a diet of high sodium foods will put your health at risk.
