>tl;drGot any job recs that aren't COMPLETELY soul crushing? How do I get a job after NEETing it out for 10 years, not having ever worked a day in my life? So many people in the world work, I can't be *that* retarded that I can't do what comes naturally to so many others---Male, 28 y.o.Picked up gamedev a couple years ago, made good progress but have gotten sick of it, I fucking hate gamedev.I wish I could have a job that leaves me enough time to pursue my creative wants on the side (I like to draw especially), right now I feel creatively depleted, but when I used to go to school and university I was so inspired.I've realized and accepted that the reason behind my unhappiness is that I've tried for the longest time to be able to earn money through my art, but I can FEEL that if I am going to separate art and work, in other words not expect art to make me money, then I can feel good again, love artan' once more without feeling like shit knowing it won't turn me a profit. How I loved art so when there wasn't a monetary expectation behind it, I just have to stop pretending any kind of monetary gain to be produced from my creative works, be it 2D or 3D, let those be a hobby as they used to. Surely that'll amount to something.
>>1551536My suggestion would be the lawn/garden industry. They do snow removal or whatnot in the winter. There are a variety of workloads, for the people that want to go crazy working as hard as they can for 14 hours a day, down to people that want easy work for a couple small shifts a weekThe job is completely removed from what you're doing now, and it often sucks so they hire quite regularly
>>1551540Aww man, I'm assuming you're either american or canadian right? Or scandinavian. Sounds like a doable job, one I wouldn't mind at least trying, but sadly there simply is no snow to plow where I live (I live in western Europe).Doesn't have to be snow though I reckon, if not about that it's just a matter of cutting up grass and branches and shit, right? Not a top pick in that case (plowing snow sounds a lot cooler) but a worthy addition to my rec list nonetheless, thank youNot really related, but I tried to apply for work at a cinema once, to pick up whatever shit viewers left behind, pop corn and all, though they never got back to me, shame because I honestly wouldn't have minded to give the place a shot, I like the padded walls of those joints and how they muffle sound, it's relaxing
