Is there a way to set my mouse so that it ignores clicks that are too close to each other?

My mouse is doing an annoying double click thing were I press LB once but it acts like two real fast subsequent clicks. I'd like to make it so that if there's a delay of less than, let's say, 1/5 of a second between clicks the second click is ignored.
My knowledge of programming is very small but I was hoping there'd be a way to write a simple program that does that? Like with AutoHotKey maybe?

It's a Logitech G203 and my OS is Windows 10.

>inb4 just buy a new one
Yeah I'll tell my butler to take my gold plated lamborghini to the store posthaste and get me a new mouse

Open your mouse and clean/replace the switch.

I don't have a soldering iron and Jeeves is too busy polishing my 20ft marble statue of myself to go buy me one and a new switch

I gonna be looking further into the AutoHotKey idea

You don't need a soldering iron to clean it.

It's not dirty.
Anyways I think I fixed it so I'll be deleting the thread.

You're posting on a phone-infested Internet, not a single mention of double-click delay config that comes out of the box.
I hate zoomers so much.

I just poured some alcohol into the switches instead and it worked. They say alcohol won't get rid of the oxidation and vinegar is required, but mine's ok

What double-click delay config?

Your mouse is coming to life and trying to exert its will, just try yelling at it

That option only changes the maximum time between clicks to count as double clicks. It's completely useless in this situation where the the mouse is executing clicks directly after each other.
Any more great nuggets of wisdom where that came from? Since we're all phone-addicted zoomers or whatever.

Yes, it's been a windows features since like... 2000 probably. Just go fuck around with the mouse settings until you find it, unless windows removed access to it. And even then you can probably get it back because microsoft is inept even at hamstringing their own software.

protip, you can also clean the contacts percussively by clicking it a lot, like with a vibrator/back massager. might not be as long-lasting a fix as alcohol, but it doesn't require disassembly.
>>

no it's not
you can change the maximum time for double clicks, but not the minimum which is what op was asking
this was already brought up in the comment right above yours

Are you dense? If you set it as slow, then it will ignore fast double-clicks.
>>
>>1552326
Completely false. Try it yourself right now.

Not OP but thank you
