>be me>have an EVGA RTX 2080 Super with 3 fans>use Precision X1 (godawful software though still better than the nvidia app) to control fan curves because only EVGA software can control the third fan for some gay reason>update Nvidia drivers after a year>Precision X1 will no longer launch>only one fan on the GPU spins (all of them will spin up for a split second while the PX1 splash screen is displayed but then when it fails to actually start they will shut off)>try other fan control software (MSI Afterburner and FanControl), they can't even get fan 2 to spin but fan 2 has identical RPM to fan 1 (so the software thinks fan 1 and fan 2 are the same fan)>uninstall PX1 like 10 times, reinstall nvidia drivers, run as administrator, sfc /scannow, etc>spend hours googling and trying all the suggestions>nothing worksEvent Viewer gives two errors with event IDs of 1000 and 1026 when I try to launch Precision X1. Although at this point it seems like the issue might be with more than just EVGA's shitty software, considering other fan control programs can't even distinguish between fans 1 and 2.
