I'm planning to import about 250-500 volumes of Japanese manga from Suruga-ya. I've never done this before, so can someone guide me on the most economical way to use a proxy service to buy the manga and ship it to the United States? Should I ship it by weight or by dimensions? All in one package or in smaller packages?
>>1552596>All in one package or in smaller packages? You're probably paying tariffs, and if you break it into multiple packages you'll be paying multiple instances of brokerages instead of just once, so don't do that
>>1552597As far as I know, manga volumes are classified as books so they are exempt from extra tariffs, although I could be wrong.
>>1552596Zenmarket. I've spent thousands on there importing cheap vintage electronics (audio equipment, retro game consoles, etc). They have the best rates and always package everything likes it's some rare ancient artefact. You'll likely pay an eighth of the price you would usually.
