>>1553607The John Wick movies. The very first one is a simple and modest standalone noir action movie, but from 2 onwards it's completely off the rails with secret societies that rule the world.Basically a fantasy movie, with guns.I rank them 1 > 4 > 2 > 3
>>1553607April and the Extraordinary World film - what-if all scientists were taken and technology stopped at the steam ageDofus Livre 1: Julith / Dofus: Book of Julith film - fantasy universe
- Spirited Away (animation)- Inception- Spy Kids- Pan's Labyrinth- Mortal Engines- Steven Spielberg's AI (quite dated, but still valid)>>1553704Correct rank.
>>1553754>Correct rank.based.Like I said the first one a classic simple noir action movie. The fourth one is so completely far off the rails with the universe it's built up up of Continentals and The Table and The King that it circles back around to being classic and simple in a way. An absolute love letter to action-fantasy, if the fantasy setting was a slightly cooler version of the modern world. The second of course introduces the concept of other Continentals and the High Table and how they and other assassin groups control -all- of society. The third one I don't really remember much, it was a great big journey across the desert that more or less put him back where he started with assassins still after him.Spirited away is great, also.
