Recently I've been given two old LGA775 motherboards, specifically a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L and an Asus P5GC-MX/1333. When I tried booting into Windows 7 with an HDD (IDE interface), the Asus one booted without any problem, but the Gigabyte one just wouldn't. Even in safe mode, it would load all the files until one called agp440.sys and then give a blue screen and restart, repeating the cycle. Do you have any idea or tip that might help? Thanks.
>>1554053Corrupted driver for the AGP.You may be able to use the Recovery Console, look it up. I'd rather try booting from an installation disc for XP or Win7, and then I'd try reinstalling windows. You can use the working system to make a bootable disc or USB. I don't know if your GB board uses UEFI or BIOS. You might experience challenges booting with USB if it uses UEFI.
