so I recently clicked a discord "try my game" type website link. I clicked download but when the prompt came up to pick a save location, I clicked cancel. I ran multiple deep scans of my PC both with malwarebytes and windows defender and nothing came up. I never ran the actual game exe and the download button was just a dropbox link.

Can I get away with not reinstalling windows? none of my accounts have been hacked and my discord is still fine

If you didn't run it, you're good.
Infection without you running it requires very valuable exploits that they wouldn't waste on ordinary people.
