Question about The Pirate Bay site and mirrors

So I'm used to downloading movies and TV shows from one of the TPB mirrors, specifically (thepiratebay10 xyz) and it works. Obviously I always make sure to only download media files, that is mp4 or mkv files not any suspicious extensions. However I was reading a piracy wiki and it labeled some of those mirrors as sketchy. So what IS the actual pirate bay site? And what are the trusted mirrors?
