Hi guys, I just built a PC but when I turn it on, it keeps giving me a B1 error and vga yellow light. The specs are:Gigabyte Aorus z890 gaming wifi 7RTX 5070Intel Ultra 7 275kCorsair Dominator Platinum DDR5 32gb (2x16)
>>1555002Reseat ram/try other ram slots
>>1555004things I tried:Reseating the RAM, removing a stick, placing the stick in A1, placing both RAMs in A2 and B2Reseating the CPURemoving the CMOS battery and putting it in again
>>1555004still not working, I don't really know what to do. The RAMs do work because these were from a friend's old PC, but they aren't specified on the mobo support page, so they may or may not be incompatible.
DDR5 is a crapshoot
>>1555008>>1555004if I put the stick on A1 or B1, the error turns A2
>>1555002I'm just looking at similar motherboards' error codes online, do you mean the D1 error? Combined with the vga light, I don't think this is ram related.Reseat your GPU? Try another display cable? Reseat gpu power cable? etc
Oh wait, the first time you turn on your pc you need to wait a couple mins, could you simply be not waiting? B1 is just a debug code, not an error code
