I tried reviving my dell desktop (CPU : Intel Core i5-4590T , GPU : Intel HD Graphics ) by installing linux mint cinnamon on it.

I used a flashed usb stick and installed linux mint cinammon 22.3 and everything did install fine.

But when I reboot it , it shows the dell logo then the mint logo and then it stucks on the mint logo screen.

I tried booting it in the nomodeset mode and succeded booting mint and everything worked fine.

But the thing is if I force to boot linux without proper gpu usage , it kinda lower the experience.

I even tried switching kernel ( from 6.14 to 6.8 ).

I enabled the GRUB menu to get rid of the mint logo display and be able to see the logs to identify the problem.

But I get those logs (in the picture)

What does it mean and how to fix it ??

nomodest doesn't prevent the GPU drivers from ever being loaded. It just delays loading them from during boot to after.
If it's necessary to make the system boot, then make it permanent by adding it to /etc/default/grub (GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT) and run update-grub.
It is kinda weird though, because I have this one computer that's similar (i5-4570S, integrated graphics) currently running Ubuntu, and it boots fine without nomodeset.

Does it mean that it's ok for me to continue booting it with nomodeset permanent and the use the pc normally ???

Also, do you think the problem comes from my pc having integrated gpu rather than dedicated gpu ???
>>
Will my pc runs at it maximum if I continue booting and using it with nomodeset permanent (not lowering the gpu/cpu experience) ???
Considering I do not have a dedicated gpu btw.
