Can I see any American slums or decrepit areas in some street view service? For the past few days I've been looking through random places in US with google street view and I haven't really found any. I looked through lists of poorest american cities, blackest american cities, etc, and haven't found anything.
In contrast, after dropping in some random place in Mumbai I immediately saw some half-ruined buildings.
Are areas like that in US censored somehow? Or just don't have any street view photos of them? I'm completely confused, especially considering how I heard of trash and filth from someone who has been to New York in person, and some other sources as well.
I can believe areas like that are rare, but I can't believe that there's none, yet I couldn't find a single one.
