Not really sure where to post this. Considered /diy/ but it didn't seem right.I need some advice/critique on this room design. Example 1 is on top, Example 2 is on the bottom. What I'm hung up on is that the sofa on Example 1 does not feel right since its not against a wall. Same with the TV facing the entrance. Something about that feels unnatural. However on Example 2, the distance between the TV is a bit longer and leaves less room for speakers. There is also a window where the sofa is so sunlight could potentially hit the TV directly.
there's no fucking space, throw out that piano and coffee table
lmao who has a piano in 2026?
>>1556282A pianist
>>1556258I would vote for nº 1: the sofa not being against a wall looks weird but you can get used to it, and thus have no drawbacks for that configuration.I'd also be more concerned about if the right side door could hit the piano when being openedAlso, does the rooms frontal (in the image) aperture means there's more space, another room in there, or large windows?
>>1556258I'd take the second, imagine being drunk walking into room 1 and hitting your toe on the couch
2 cuz it would feel less cramped than option 1
>>1556282What kind of retarded question is this?
>>1556284Top image as reference, theres a closet behind the sofa>>1556290Fair point
How about nº 2 but swapping the desk and the piano?
