Any way to run cracked windows games on pop os linux? That distro finally recognized my GPU, but it doesn't run most games at all. It managed to run Void Stranger, but Zero Ranger and anything more complex never opened. I already installed wine, its version 9.0.
>>1557027Try Lutris, it's in the pop shop.
>>1557028you can try Bottles as well
>>1557028Thanks a lot, it works great.I had one issue though, which I find bizarre. I tried installing ZeroRanger and first time it worked, but I didn't like that it somehow created 2 entries so I removed it. After trying to install it again it never worked again, despite booting up fine literally a minute earlier. The error I get is "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library: This application has requested Runtime to terminate in an unusual way."I don't really care to play the game right now, but I want to know how to deal with such a problem in the future.I tried giving more priveleges, or moving the folder to somewhere I 100% have root access but it didn't change anything. Why did it work the first time and never again?
>>1557083You can fix Microsoft Visual C++ runtime errors with Winetricks through Lutris. Use google.
>>1557027You can add them to your steam library and run them with proton, I think proton detects and installs necessary C++ runtime but if not you can install them with protontricks, protontricks has all the winetricks download under "install a Windows component or dll" and you can easily run your own installers within the games prefix I use the all in one C++ installer from fitgirls site.
