Is there any way to rip music from a website that doesn't offer direct downloads? I can only listen from the website or from the app. Is there a way to funnel the output into a recording without having to put my pc in a quiet room and playing by chapter?yes i can buy the cds but they're pretty rare and expensive and so far i haven't found rips or youtube videos of this to download.https://kikubon.jp/seriesAudiobookList.php?sKey=5&portalNews=10th
Assuming you meant that you want to download the audio after you paid for it. Then yes. Are the audio player for the paid version similar to this? You can just right click and save the audio files.
>>1559414unfortunately this is not the case. it's in another pop up window.the source code doesn't give me much information other than i beleive the link is a key, when i open it to other window it asks me to DL a ts file. unless you have any advice to that?
>>1559417
>>1559418clicking on that link there gives me these, which are TS files. I'm really not familiar with any of this part though
>>1559413If I watch/listen to it anyway I just use SimpleScreenRecorder and then extract the audio with ffmpeg (linux).Sounds complicated but is super fast. One extra command in the command line - OH NO!Works like a charm.Obviously not a solution if you don't wanna listen to the whole thing in real time online, but for everything you wanna do that anyway it's perfect.
>>1559419not a ts sorry, ts.php>>1559421in this case what is it recording? just the audio output? i don't want it to pick up my microphone or typing sounds
>>1559422Only what the sound card/ sound chip gives out. They are the so called "monitors" of the sound streams. Meaning it catches everything sound caused by software.YOu can specify further but it's sufficient like that for me. Meaning it would also record if I for example opened another video or played some mp3, but I just don't do anything else while it's recording.
>>1559423Thanks a bunch anon i'll try this method. It's the best chance i have beyond catching a cd at a decent price
>>1559423samefag but shit there isn't a version for windows at all?
>>1559425Not of SSR, but if you are on Windows there should be screen recorders like sand in sahara. There is apparetntly also a program called the same for Win but I don't know if it's the same program. Also for Windows you should be able to find a good direct audio recorder as well.I just use SSR because of all the linux tools I find it nicer to use than any of the audio recorders and since I am using it already anyway to sometimes record videos I just repurposed it.But for Windows there should be some good GUI audio recorders available.
>>1559417Try Video DownloadHelper firefox extensionIf that doesn't work paste the link to yt-dlp (see tutorial on youtube)Last resort is using IDM but it's a paid softwareIf you don't care about audio quality and since it's not music anyway recording with audacity is the easiest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25e031yOLBM
>>1559427>sand in saharai couldn't find this one. I tried some other video ones notable this one with a similar name but maybe im just retarded? it only picked up my audio if i used the speaker and not from my video chip. made sure my permissions were in order as wellhttps://github.com/nmd-113/SimpleScreenRecorder>>1559428>Video DownloadHelperthis didn't work. it recognized files but they were all empty and unable to play.>https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlpthis seems really out of my comfort level just reading it. how difficult is this to get to work?
>>1559430>it only picked up my audio if i used the speakerThen you used the wrong audio stream. In the audio options. Audio is processed in streams, your browser has an own stream, if you start your video player it gets its own stream etc. Tose are then all processed and muxed by your audio device (card/chip/driver/whatever).Try a different option in Audio Options. It most likely should be a Monitor.
>>1559432i had to download like 4 more programs and the only one that worked was audacity to do exactly what you mentioned. the only sad part is the audio is not as clear but i guess it's good enough for now
Thanks so much guys. i messed around with the audio and got it to be clearer audacity + loopback option was definitely the way to go here.https://files.catbox.moe/7z0i2p.mp3 10 min of the 7+ hours but it sounds really decent
