Hi, I'm interested in setting up my own cloud service using Nextcloud, but am interested in sourcing second hand or refurbished hardware, but no real idea of where I could best start that process over time. I am also vague on the ways to ensure virtual security once running, and if there's similar open source services I could use to augment it. Tired of handing Microsoft 100$+ per year to store all my old photos and videos, and would be happy to share with family and friends as well.

Thanks for any feedback, just looking for concrete ways to get started.
