I've been getting these more and more and now it's 99% of the time and I have 2 questions about them:>how far from me could the "abuse" be coming from>does anyone else get these
I'm like 70% sure mods use rangebans to keep you off specific boards.I got rangebanned specifically from /tv/ and /co/ that followed me through two different IP changes, and I suspect it's because I kept sneedposting. It only went away after my IP changed again and I stopped sneedposting
I started getting the same thing around the same time they fucked up the captcha system and started moving to the slider bullshit.I don't know why it happened other than I guess more people on my ip range are being assholes on here.
>>1559974from what i've heard it's that some combination of your browser, browser settings, ip, and everything else setting off a red flag. it's not an ip range block. it may even only apply to a particular general on a particular board, a specific exception meant to catch a particular ban evader.
>>1559974I use dual boot and can post on Linux just fine, but on Windows it's always that bullshit. Tried to clean cookies, but did not help.
