So, to make a long story short, a loved one of mine passed away recently and I have inherited all of his computers, laptops, etc. There are these two ancient laptops, the first one I got into fairly easily. It had your regular laptop findings, plus some weirder stuff I won’t get intoToday I decided to finally boot up the other, only to get hit with this (See image). I tried poking around online for something that could get me in and came up without much, google says it’s impossible to bypass.Does anybody know of a way I can get into this laptop, or recover the files on it? Curiosity is killing me
find the password.
Give it back, Tyronevalds.
>>1560034You cannot. Your only option is to try to find the password on one of the other computers. Without a password, you are not getting in.
>>1560034>plus some weirder stuff I won’t get intoWell now I'm intrigued
>>1560034Just type up up down down left right left right b a, and BAM cherry pie.
>>1560034>Does anybody know of a way I can get into thisYou don'tIf any Anons care for your loved ones, physically write down some of your passwords and seal them in an envelope, and mention the existence of said envelope to your loved onesWhen my brother died he was using Microsoft Surface tablets with keyboards as his home PCs. They were impenetrable, I just factory reset all 4 of them, no idea what was lost
>>1560074why do you want to look at your brother's porn?
>>1560101That was on an external hdd unencrypted, along with music/tv/movies. Yes I skimmed looking for anything interesting, discovered Brazil, was a pretty damn good movie But I didn't get random personal pictures to use for a funeral, or at his whatever social media and tell his online friends he was dead. You do want your online friends to find out what happens when you just disappear one day, right?
